1. – The life cycle analysis/assessment is the term used in the “cradle to grave analysis “of a product in order to assess its environmental impact. The LCA assesses the overall impact of the product on the environment over its complete life cycle. That is to say, it includes raw materials, production, use, possible re-use or recycling and eventual disposal of the product. The LCA fits into the integrated approach taken in modern environmental assessments and can play a role in Environmental Impact Assessment.
