1. (from Latin - infra - below, under and structura - structure, location is a term used to describe a set of interconnected structures, industries or objects that serve for the normal functioning of any system as a whole) - a system of organizational structures, subsystems providing functioning, development of the information space of the country and means of information interaction. Includes: a set of information centers, subsystems, data banks and knowledge, communication systems, control centers, hardware and software and technologies for collecting, storing, processing and transferring information. Provides consumers access to information resources. As examples of information infrastructure, we can cite such well-known spheres of our life as: the Internet, remote education, network media, advertising, public relations.
