1. collection of plants, fungi, animals and micro-organisms being of a particular composition and developed nature of interrelationships between themselves as well as with the environment. This term was introduces by K. Mebius in 1877. As a rule, the belonging of B. is understood as to the same biogeocenosis and biotope.
